At prepwise, we strive to provide exceptional value through our technical interview preparation platform. We understand that sometimes our service may not meet your expectations, and we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of our refund policy.

2. General Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of their initial purchase, but only if they have not meaningfully used the platform
  • Service Issues: If our platform is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to technical issues on our end
  • Billing Errors: In cases of accidental double billing or incorrect charges
  • Unauthorized Charges: If your account was charged without your authorization

3. Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund:

  • First-time subscribers within 7 days of purchase who have not meaningfully used the platform
  • Accounts with minimal or no platform usage (no practice questions attempted, no features accessed beyond basic account setup)
  • Cases of technical issues preventing platform access
  • Billing errors or unauthorized charges

Not Eligible for Refund:

  • Subscriptions after the 7-day period
  • Accounts with any meaningful platform usage (attempted practice questions, accessed learning materials, used mock interviews, etc.)
  • Accounts that have logged in multiple times or spent significant time on the platform
  • Change of mind after using the platform features
  • Failure to pass technical interviews (our platform is a preparation tool, not a guarantee)
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Enterprise or team subscriptions (subject to separate agreements)

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@prepwise.com
  2. Include your account email address and order details
  3. Provide a brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund
  4. Allow 3-5 business days for review and processing

We may ask for additional information to verify your eligibility and process your request.

5. Refund Processing

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used
  • Your account access will be suspended upon refund approval

Note: The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider, typically 3-14 business days.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may offer partial refunds:

  • For annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term (prorated based on unused months)
  • When technical issues affect only certain features
  • For billing errors where only a portion of the charge was incorrect

Partial refunds are calculated on a case-by-case basis and are at our sole discretion.

7. Subscription Cancellation

Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for the remaining period of an active subscription.
